Privacy Policy

Infinite Ascension collects the minimum data necessary to operate the game. We collect and store:

• Discord User ID — to identify your account and associate game progress.
• Discord Server (Guild) ID — to configure the Bot per server.
• In-game data — your cultivation realm, stats, inventory, currency balances, profession levels, and other gameplay state.
• Transaction records — logs of Rune Stone purchases made via Paddle for support and dispute purposes.

We do not collect your Discord username, email address, message content (beyond commands directed at the Bot), or any personal information beyond what is listed above.

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Store and retrieve your in-game progress across sessions.
• Process in-game transactions (Rune Stone purchases, trades, market orders).
• Provide customer support for issues related to the Bot.
• Detect and prevent cheating, exploits, or abuse.
• Compile anonymized aggregate statistics about Bot usage.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

All game data is stored in a MongoDB Atlas database hosted on MongoDB's cloud infrastructure. We implement reasonable technical safeguards including access controls and encrypted connections. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

The Bot integrates with the following third-party services:

• Discord— all interactions occur on the Discord platform, subject to Discord's own Privacy Policy.
• MongoDB Atlas — database hosting for game state.
• Anthropic / Google / OpenRouter — AI APIs used for the in-game assistant. Only game-relevant prompts are sent; no personally identifying information is included.
• Paddle — payment processing for Rune Stone purchases. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record; their privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Top.gg— if you vote for the Bot on Top.gg, that action is governed by Top.gg's privacy policy.

Your game data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you would like your data deleted, contact us through the Discord server or by messaging nichozero directly. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that deletion is irreversible and will permanently erase all game progress.

This website offers an optional "Login with Discord" feature powered by NextAuth.js. If you choose to log in:

• We receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar from Discord's OAuth2 API.
• A session cookie is stored in your browser to keep you logged in.
• This information is used solely to display your profile on this website.
• You can revoke access at any time via Discord > User Settings > Authorized Apps.

Browsing this website without logging in does not transmit any personal data beyond standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referrer) retained for up to 30 days.

Infinite Ascension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Bot after changes constitutes acceptance.
